How to replace a compressor

How to replace a compressor

Before replacing the compressor, we need to confirm that the compressor has been damaged, so we need to electrically test the compressor. After detecting that the compressor is damaged, we need to replace it with a new one.

Generally, we need to look at some performance parameters of the air compressor, such as basic power, displacement and whether the nameplate parameters can meet the daily needs. Calculate the specific power - the smaller the value, the better, which means the more energy saving.

air compressor construction

Disassembly should under the following basic principles:

1.During disassembly, the operating procedures should be considered in advance according to the different structures of each part of the air compressor to avoid inversion, causing confusion, or trying to save trouble, violently dismantling and banging, causing damage and deformation of parts.

2.The order of disassembly is generally the reverse of the order of assembly, that is, disassemble the external parts first, then the internal parts, disassemble the assembly from the top at a time, and then disassemble the parts.

3.When disassembling, use special tools and clamps. It is necessary to ensure that no damage occurs to qualified parts. For example, when unloading the gas valve assembly, special tools are also used. It is not allowed to clamp the valve on the table and remove it directly, which may easily deform the valve seat and other clamps. Do not damage the piston rings when disassembling and installing the piston.

4.The parts and components of large air compressors are very heavy. When disassembling, be sure to prepare lifting tools and rope sets, and pay attention to protecting the components when tying them up to prevent them from being bruised or damaged.

5.For the disassembled parts, the parts should be placed in the appropriate position and not placed randomly. For large and important parts, do not place them on the ground but on skids, such as pistons and cylinders of large air compressors. Covers, crankshafts, connecting rods, etc. should be specially prevented from being deformed due to improper placement. Small parts should be placed in boxes and covered.

6.The disassembled parts should be put together according to the original structure as much as possible. Complete sets of non-interchangeable parts should be marked before disassembly and put together after disassembly, or string together with ropes to avoid confusion. , causing errors during assembly and affecting assembly quality.

7.Pay attention to the cooperative relationship between workers. There should be one person to direct and divide the work in detail.
