From January 27th to February 2nd, the delegation from Kenya’s Geothermal Development Corporation (GDC) flew from Nairobi to Shanghai and began a formal visit and trip. During the period, with the introduction and accompanying of the heads of the General Machinery Research Institute and relevant companies, the delegation visited Kaishan Shanghai Lingang Industrial Park, Kaishan Quzhou Industrial Park, Donggang Heat Exchanger Production workshops and Dazhou Industrial Park.
The powerful and advanced manufacturing capabilities, safety management standards and intelligent production impressed the delegation. Especially after seeing that Kaishan's business scope covers many high-precision fields such as geothermal development, aerodynamics, hydrogen energy applications and heavy-duty machinery.
On February 1st, Dr. Tang Yan, General Manager of Kaishan Group, met with the delegation, introduced Kaishan wellhead module power station technology to the guests, and conducted a Q&A exchange on the upcoming new project.
In addition, the directors of relevant research institutes of Kaishan General Technology Research Institute conducted multiple technical trainings at the request of the visiting delegation, laying a solid foundation for closer cooperation in the future.
The leader of the delegation, Mr. Moses Kachumo, expressed his gratitude to Kaishan for the enthusiastic and thoughtful arrangements. He said that the Sosian power station constructed by Kaishan in Menengai demonstrated extremely high technical standards. In the earlier blackout accident, it only took more than 30 minutes for the Kaishan power station to be reconnected to the grid. Based on what he learned about the advanced technology of Kaishan, he suggested working with Kaishan as a team on more projects.
